Kit: What's a typical New York day for you?
Poppy: It is hard to find anything typical in New York! But for me the most typical day involves meetings with staff, press, customers and retailers about Lipstick Queen products. I start work about 8am and finish about 6 or 7 pm but really...my mind is on work 24/7. When your job is to explain your vision....you need to explain it constantly to all areas of the business from the press to the customer to the manufactures. It can be very repetitive which is why you need so much passion.
kit: What do you do to unwind?
Poppy: Bikram Yoga, I have done it now for 3 years and I adore it. It centers me no matter what else is going on in my life.
